Accountant needed in a fintech industry

Our client in a FINTECH industry is looking to fill the role of an ACCOUNTANT

POSITION: ACCOUNTANT

JOB LOCATION: IKEJA, LAGOS

JOB SUMMARY:

•Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
•Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
•Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, Assets Register, etc.
•Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
•Maintaining accurate financial records.
•Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
•Computing taxes.
•Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
•Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. 
•Minimum of 3 years experience as a financial accountant 
•Must have in-depth knowledge of Finance and Accounting. 
•Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
•ICAN/ ACA is an added advantage.
•Must have in-depth knowledge of the use of Excel and other accounting software.
•Male preferably for gender balance.
