Dajae Williams, a brilliant and talented 26-year-old American lady, has achieved success in both music and science after accidentally enrolling to become an Engineer.
Dajae Williams had a passion for music as a child, but her teacher at Kirkwood High School in Missouri, United States, mistakenly enrolled her in honors geometry, altering her path.

Her teacher admitted it was a mistake, but they had no idea how it would affect Dajae’s life.
Dajae Williams, on the other hand, was able to demonstrate her brilliance in the science course.

Dajae Williams attended the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri, after graduating from high school.
She recalled her mother encouraging her to pursue a career in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) because of its lack of gender and racial diversity. “My mother persuaded me to pursue a STEM degree,” she explained.
“She noticed that I was improving in math and science, so she said, ‘Why don’t you investigate this?'” There aren’t many women. There aren’t many black people in this field. See what you can come up with. ‘See if you can make a difference.'”
Dajae Williams now works as a rocket scientist for the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). “I still have to pinch myself now and then.”
“It’s always an exhilarating experience to be around so many intelligent people, just being present and taking it all in because there is so much to learn,” she said.
