Role Overview (Finance Analyst)

The Product & Revenue Finance team is looking for an accomplished finance expert that is eager to contribute.

This position will be a crucial member of the team and be in charge of several facets of our fast-growing organization’s financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis.

We are searching for applicants who are passionate about analysis and commercial partnerships, who can work accurately and quickly with minimal supervision, and who do well in virtual, independent environments.

Only those who are currently residing in the region of Africa will be considered for this remote post.

Finance Analyst Job Description

This position’s primary responsibilities will include planning, reporting, and analyzing top-line financial data and related metrics for our Retention stream.

The position will also be involved in sales compensation analytics and finance close procedures.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, with variance justifications and analysis as required for reviews, such as Finance Close & Quarterly Business Reviews.

• Create or enhance our current Retention Plan model to better reflect our financial and strategic goals.

• To guarantee total alignment, work cross-functionally with both internal and external business partners. The partner marketing, sales, and analytics teams are included in this.

• Assess and compute sales performance and compensation. To ensure acceptable and accurate outcomes for their teams, collaborate with sales leaders around the world.

• Use critical thought and independent judgment when resolving theoretical and practical issues.

• Demystify massive, complicated data sets to aid and impact important business choices.
• As required, collaborate with accounting and auditors.
• Create reports and analysis as needed for use in areas of the business (other than the Retention stream).

About You
A minimum of three to five years of relevant, hands-on experience in finance, including financial modeling, analysis, planning, and forecasting
analytical mind. the capacity to analyze data, spot trends, judge accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.
Clear communicator with the capacity to interact and present to business partners at all organizational levels.
correctness is essential in a finance position, therefore the candidate must be detail-oriented and have the persistence to ensure reporting is accurate and clean before publication.
Ability to work independently under general supervision and meet strict monthly, quarterly, or other deadlines.

It would be ideal if you have experience with Power BI, SQL, and cloud-based reporting tools.
