What is the OWU affiliation?

Our signature program, The OWU Connection, connects classroom learning with real-world experience. Faculty mentors will work with you to create your own OWU Connection pathway, including travel, research, creative projects, service, and internships, all to prepare you for the courses, careers, and unique graduate school opportunities that you want to pursue.

What is OWU Connection…?

Guided With a student-to-faculty ratio of 11:1, you will work closely with professors and advisors who can assist you in discovering your passion and developing a program to make it a career.

Personalized Do you want to study Zoology and Creative Writing? You are capable of doing so. Add a trip to the Galapagos Islands to walk in Darwin’s footsteps. And are you thinking about having a semester internship with a New York City publisher?

We collaborate with you to design a one-of-a-kind experience that will prepare you for your next step and a lifetime of learning.

Universal The OWU Connection is open to all OWU students. You can travel, conduct research, complete an internship, and apply your knowledge in the real world.

INTERNATIONAL ADMISSION

Ohio Wesleyan prepares students to live, lead, and prosper in a global society. Students from around the world have been coming to Ohio Wesleyan for more than 150 years, and today, they help to create an international living and learning community on our campus.

Students from around 30 countries are currently enriching Ohio Wesleyan University with their talents and perspectives. And we are part of a richly diverse central Ohio community that speaks more than 100 languages.

The Ohio Wesleyan curriculum focuses on global issues and experiences as well. Students can “Go Global” and study abroad in various ways. Our Global Scholars Program supports student projects worldwide and brings international scholars to OWU.

We also offer majors in International Relations and International Business, with students conducting research in almost every field of study around the world, from Accounting in Australia to Zoology in Zimbabwe.

After four years of study, our graduate students are prepared to make a difference in the world.
