Annually, A Place for Mom provides a Senior Care Scholarship video contest grant that is solely available to undergraduates from the United States and Canada. Applicants should be interested in the disciplines of aging and gerontology. There are up to five awards accessible, each worth up to $2,000. To apply, all candidates must submit an essay on the given topic question.

Scholarship Information (Place for Mom Senior)

A Place for Mom is delighted to provide an annual scholarship to university students studying aging and gerontology. We understand the significance of assisting the education and development of our future senior care leaders as we are North America’s most significant senior care living referral service.
The above scholarship will be granted to citizens or permanent resident of the United United States or Canada (excluding Quebec) who is officially enrolled and attending courses at a recognized university or college in the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec).

Prize Money
As support, each successful candidate will be awarded up to $2,000 in prize money.

Level and Field of Study (Place for Mom Senior)
Undergraduate and graduate degrees in a specialty associated with medicine, nursing, or social sciences.

Study Location (Place for Mom Senior)
Students must be studying in the United States or Canada.

Criteria and Eligibility (Place for Mom Senior)
To be eligible, all students must meet all of the following criteria.
• All candidates must be enrolled at graduate or undergraduate level in any of the above-mentioned disciplines. Please be aware that you need to be enrolled in classes at an accredited university or college at the time of the spring deadline.
• All staff of A Place for Mom, as well as members of their immediate family (parent ,spouse, sibling, child, and their respective spouses, irrespective of their residence), and individuals who reside in the same household, whether or not they are related, of such employees, are not qualified to apply.
• Applicants must submit a letter of introduction alongside a video on the chosen topic, together with signing the Scholarship Award Agreement.
• Five students will be granted scholarships for writing the most persuasive essays as judged by an external panel of senior care professionals.

Only qualified students from the United States and Canada are qualified to apply.
